Founded in 1994 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, Adroit Power Systems India Private Limited began as a humble entrepreneurial venture rooted in engineering integrity and ethical business practices. From its early days, the company focused on delivering dependable, performance-driven power solutions to address real-world industrial challenges.
The company was co-founded by Mr. Shanth Kumar and Mrs. Vimala Shanth Kumar, whose complementary leadership has been fundamental to Adroit’s growth. Mr. Shanth Kumar, a technopreneur at heart, has led the company’s technical vision, marketing, and operations, driven by a relentless thirst for learning and adoption of emerging technologies. His passion for continuous improvement and refusal to settle for incremental progress have shaped Adroit’s engineering-led culture.
Equally instrumental to the organisation’s success, Mrs. Vimala Shanth Kumar, Co-Founder, has been the backbone of the company’s administration, finance, and governance, ensuring operational discipline, compliance, and organisational stability. Her dedication and consistency have played a vital role in sustaining the company’s long-term growth.
From its modest beginnings, Adroit steadily expanded into a trusted power solutions partner across India, establishing a branch in Tirupur and a strong dealer and reseller network across Erode, Salem, Trichy, Madurai, Chennai, Nashik, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. Alongside domestic expansion, the company successfully entered international markets, supplying power solutions to customers in the Middle East and Africa, marking key milestones in its global journey.
Adroit’s accreditations and industry affiliations stand as testimony to its commitment to quality and ethical conduct. The company holds nationally and internationally recognised certifications, is an active member of the Coimbatore Association of UPS & Stabilizers (CAUS), and is an NSIC–CRISIL rated organisation. In addition, Mr. Shanth Kumar’s active involvement with Business Network International (BNI) reflects Adroit’s engagement with the wider professional and business ecosystem.

1. NTC Entry
Got NTC entry in the year 2009 and being the only supplier to all their mills in Tamilnadu & Kerala in the past consecutive 4 years due to the trouble free performance of our products & periodic after-sales service
2. Reach Entire South India
We are noted in the industry after the completion of BPCL project orders in the entire south india as a OEM to a another top brand, job is supplying servo stabilizers to all the bharath petroleum bunks in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra, Karnataka, & Maharastra which was Successfully completed.
3. First Export Order
Got our 1st export order to RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA in ELECRAMA fair held in Mumbai in the year 2010 which is the biggest international trade fair in INDIA for Electrical& Electronics and started getting repeat orders after conducting 1 year severe performance test ,and to be noted , earlier the buyer was importing from Europen market.
4. Authorized Business Partner for DELTA
We become Authorised Business Partner of DELTA Online UPS and power systems in India. This makes us one of the largest players of power solution providers in India for industrial and residential requirements.
